Marketing software for solo real estate agents: choose by the work
Decide whether a calendar and design tool are enough, when a marketing workspace helps, and when you need a separate CRM or publishing tool.
Start with one complete week of work
Suppose your week contains one property invitation, one buyer question to explain, and three promised follow-ups. Write those outputs down before shopping for software. Your first requirement is to finish the work and know what happened.
If a calendar, design tool, and small current contact list already support that routine, another subscription may add little. A structured workspace becomes useful when campaign tasks, materials, event records, and next actions are repeatedly difficult to keep together.
Separate the jobs before comparing products
A tool can cover several jobs, but a category name does not prove a feature is included. Check the exact product, plan, and workflow you intend to use.
| Job | Evidence to ask for | REMC’s documented role |
|---|---|---|
| Design | Can I edit the material in a tool I can access? | Eligible Free campaign/calendar assets or the full Premium published library; separate Canva account. |
| Planning | Can I assign dates and see the next task? | Campaign plans, tasks, and calendar. |
| Open-house sign-in | Can a visitor submit without installing an app? | Browser sign-in and organized records. |
| Follow-up organization | Can I record a request and a dated action? | Lead notes, stages, activity, and next actions. |
| Publishing and sending | Does the tool actually send through my channels? | You publish and send manually through your own tools. |
| Specialist CRM workflow | Can it demonstrate my team, reporting, or transaction requirements? | Evaluate separately; do not infer these from lead organization. |
When a calendar-based setup is enough
Keep a simple setup when you can find the approved material, complete promised actions, and keep contact records private. Choose one weekly review and one place for dated tasks. More channels do not fix an unclear routine.
If you already have a working contact system, avoid conflicting next actions in two places. Decide which system is authoritative. Do not assume synchronization with a CRM unless that connection has been verified.
- Can I find this week’s approved material?
- Can I see what I promised each person?
- Can I complete the action through the appropriate channel?
- Can I record completion without losing context?
When REMC fits, and when to evaluate another tool
REMC supports campaign preparation, templates, editable task plans, open-house sign-in, and personal follow-up organization. Free includes the Open House campaign, one open house, up to 15 active leads, and one generated social calendar month. That month does not refresh each month. Eligible Canva assets come from the free campaign and your claimed calendar. Premium adds the other campaigns, unlimited open houses and active leads, ongoing monthly calendars, custom lead forms, lead import/export, and the full published template library. Check the pricing page for the current offer.
If automatic posting, automated outreach, or specialized transaction or team processes are requirements, evaluate software that explicitly demonstrates them. REMC does not automatically publish posts or send messages. Do not buy template access expecting those functions.
Try a small workflow before adding software
Using fictional test details, create one event, prepare an invitation, scan its sign-in code, check the resulting record, and add a specific next action. Send nothing to a real contact during this exercise. Note every separate tool and manual step.
Judge whether you can complete the path with clear records. This exercise tests a workflow; it does not establish expected lead volume, time savings, or sales results.
- Record working steps and unmet requirements.
- Check separate account, asset, and subscription requirements.
- Choose one authoritative place for follow-up records.
- Add software only for a defined gap.
